“WHAT’S THE CRAIC?” FOR DECEMBER 2013
The Craic Session is at Meg O’Malley’s!
Please join us on Monday, December 2nd, between 5:00-6:30 P.M. at Meg O’Malley’s on the outside patio area. This is, as always, a time dedicated to Irish culture and heritage. This upcoming session will feature Ireland’s Brehon Laws.
Due to a Holiday Christmas Party, this month’s Social will be held of the first Monday, December 2nd.
During the Craic Session, Florida AOH State President Greg Seán Canning will discuss the history and development of Brehon Law, one of most developed social justice systems in all of ancient Europe. The presentation will also include a brief overview of its contents.
It is our hope that you will find this session quite informative. His presentation will be based on the article, “The Development of Brehon Law,” which is posted on the aohflorida.org website under the “Irish and Irish-American History” subsection located under the Cultural Tab in the top Green Menu Bar. Once there, the Article will be listed under “Ancient Irish History“.
