“WHAT’S THE CRAIC?” FOR MARCH 4, 2014
THE CRAIC SESSION IS AT MEG O’MALLEY’S!
Please join us on Tuesday, March 4th, between 5:00-6:30 P.M. at Meg O’Malley’s on the outside patio area. This is, as always, a time dedicated to Irish culture and heritage. This upcoming session will feature a presentation on the history behind the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland and the similarities and differences of how it is celebrated in the United States.
During the Craic Session, Florida AOH State President Greg Seán Canning will also discuss the differences and similarities between the Irish and Scottish traditions of the kilt and its proper outfit. Following the presentations, Greg Seán will prepare his famous Irish Coffees for the attendees.
It is our hope that you will find this session quite informative. His presentation will be based on the article, “Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland”, which is posted on the aohflorida.org website under the “Irish Culture and Holidays” subsection located under the Cultural Tab in the top Green Menu Bar.
