The Florida AOH/LAOH will be holding their biannual State Board meeting on April 24th. Given the environment, we will be meeting by Zoom (link will be sent out to every member in good standing prior to the date of the scheduled meeting). The joint meeting will commence at 11am and will conclude by 1130. Immediately following, the AOH and LAOH will meet separately to conduct the business of the Order. If you have any agenda items you would like added in, please send them to the State President at email@example.com or State Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CALL TO ORDER
Our Spring AOH/LAOH State Board Meetings will be held on Saturday, April 24 via Zoom Virtual Call..
The State Board meetings will run from 11 am to approximately 1:00 pm.
- The Joint AOH/LAOH Meeting will run from 11:00 am to approximately 11:30 am.
- The Men’s Meeting will run from 11:45 am to approximately 1:00 pm.
- The Ladies’ Meeting will run from 11:45 am to approximately 1:00 pm.
- Further instructions for the LAOH will be forthcoming from the LAOH State Secretary.
- Every effort will be made so as to limit the Men’s meeting to approximately an hour.
- It is requested that all Division Presidents forward this email to their Members and invite them to join in.
All AOH Divisions are required by our State By-Laws to be in attendance.
To facilitate the meeting and conduct State Business in an orderly and timely manner, each AOH Division President, State Board Officer and Chairman should limit their reports to only one page and submit their reports via email to the State Secretary (Greg Seán Canning at email@example.com) no later than Monday, April 19 for inclusion into a State Reports Booklet, which will sent via “email” to all State and Division officers and to our State Chairs.
In order to limit the Men’s session to approximately an hour, oral presentation of the reports will be limited to the top 4 State Board Officers. No exception will be allowed other than important or pertinent information or situations that need to be shared by either Division Presidents or Committee Chairmen.
Again, it is extremely important that each AOH Division be present at the State Board meeting via the Zoom Call. Remember – attendance is required at all State Board meetings. If for any reason your Division cannot be present – please contact either Ray Lynch or Greg Seán Canning as soon as possible.
Remember — email a copy of your report (State Officers, Chairs, and Division Presidents) to the Florida State Secretary for inclusion into the State Reports Booklet no later than Monday, April 19.
